RETIRED APPARATUS

1953 Mack (Engine 2)

Primary Role: To preserve and honor the history of the Peebles District Volunteer Fire Company.

The 1953 Mack was the first fire apparatus purchased by the Peebles District Volunteer Fire Company. This marked a major milestone for the company that had been towing various fire equipment behind members' personal vehicles. The Mack remains in our history room as a reminder of the hard work our founding members put into creating the organization that exists today. The truck still runs well and participates in many parades!

Retired in 2018
The 1996 Ford F-350 functioned as "188 Squad" for 22 years. It was a great addition to the quickly growing company. It became the station's primary "people mover" and also was a huge asset in being able to tow the UTV and boat trailer.
