Primary Role: To preserve and honor the history of the Peebles District Volunteer Fire Company. The 1953 Mack was the first fire apparatus purchased by the Peebles District Volunteer Fire Company. This marked a major milestone for the company that had been towing various fire equipment behind members' personal vehicles. The Mack remains in our history room as a reminder of the hard work our founding members put into creating the organization that exists today. The truck still runs well and participates in many parades!
